Jewelry Organizer RAINBOW

:w00t: I FINALLY DID IT!!!!  I made an organization thingy for all my hair ornaments, rings and necklaces!!!

:boogie: >w< mwahahah I love how it turned out!! It is like a decoration for my room now rather than just extra clutter...(rainbow clutter...but clutter nonetheless...) hahah

I was inspired by this thing i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/07/… that I saw at Wallmart... but I didn't think it could handle my ...uh... VOLUME of hair things ehehehhehehehe ^^;

^^; aaaaaaahhh I have waaaaaaaaaaay too much jewelry... (I know)...^^; but I love colorful things...and sparkly things...and flowers....so I can't help it X'''D I really do wear most of it...I wear a different hair flower every day to work depending on what sort of "color" mood I'm in hehheh XD....I really caaaaaaan't buy any more things though...they just wouldn't fit! X'''D

8D I think my faaaaaaaavorite thing about this is how I'm storing my rings! I used to just have them all stuffed in a little box on my dresser and I would have to dig down for the one I wanted... Now they are all visible, organized, and easily accessible! =D I have them on "loose leaf rings" www.adss.net/images/3_loose_le… the large size... ^^ they are so easy to deal with now... :heart:

Here is basically what I did... I got a big wooden board...(plywood) my dad smoothed the edges for me ^^ :heart:, I covered it with quilt batting and pretty fabric (I used a staple gun to attach it at the back), then I sewed on some woven jute "ribbon" along the edges and some other things (to clip the clips on), and I screwed in cup holder hooks to hold the ring rings...and the necklaces... putting it up on the wall was the hardest part... X'D I had drilled holes in the back of the plank (only part-way through) at an angle so it would hang on two angled nails... in order to nail the nails in the wall at the rights spots... I used one of those pencils with the many tips that were popular in the 80s... oooh what are they called... Multi point Pencils i01.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/3931… XD I took two tips out and stuck them in the holes with the graphite pointing outward and just scratched them on the wall so I would put the nails in just the right spots... X'''D I know there are other ways of doing that but it would have required a ruler... and I didn't feel like hunting one down at the time X''D ahahha...

I will post a step by step process of making this if anyone else is interested... ^___^ or even if they aren't' ;P hahahah

anyhow Yay! :w00t: :heart:
